Who We Are

Kelsey has been an American-Baptist for 35 of her 35 years on this great Earth. She was born into faith and has walked with God ever since. Kelsey has experienced a lot in this time, she has faced multiple assaults, toxic family members, mental health battles, hard losses of jobs, pets, family members. But also in this time, she has been an active church member, sitting on leadership teams, running youth groups, going on short-term mission trips. Simultaneously, she has been educating in the classroom for 13 years. She also has medical diagnosis’ that were not always supported or believed – fibromyalgia and bipolar 2 disorder, to name a few. She has also supported and encouraged those people who needed the most support and were treated like less than. She has a history of standing up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. She is not afraid to say what needs to be said, when it needs to be said. And as of June 2024, she has resigned from education to pursue ministry and outreach in hopes to encourage others and help some find a voice when they feel that no one is listening. While she has no formal degrees in ministry, yet, she has an educational leadership masters degree, she has a Human & Animal Health certificate focusing on social-emotional learning, and she has 35 years of solid, Christian experience that she will openly share to anyone in need. She is starting the M28 program to earn a certificate in theological education. Kelsey knows all too well what it’s like to speak up and be the only voice in the crowd, that then falls flat. Kelsey believes everyone’s voice matters but God is in control and we need to listen to His guidance.. Need a cheerleader, faith partner, prayer buddy? Kelsey will be that and more.
